Jazz

Our adult jazz classes are fuuuuun! Most of the content is inspired by vernacular jazz of the 1910’s through 1940’s during the charleston and swing eras. We treat solo jazz as a street dance, meaning it’s not institutionalized and there’s emphasis on self-expression and improvisation. True to the spirit of our club, we take considerable diligence with placing our students with instructors who are caring, attentive, and explain things well.

We rotate between several marquee instructors of jazz ! Each have learned from the old masters of jazz such as Norma Miller, Chester Whitmore, Lennart Westerlund, Frankie Manning, and many more.
