Make Up Class : If you need to miss a class, tell our staff - if similar is available, you can come to another lesson on a different day!
Tap Shoes : Tap Shoes are NOT required! Many students decide to get tap shoes eventually, but when you are first starting out, you can make-do with any shoe. Shoes that don't stick and have a harder sole made of leather or hard rubber usually work quite well. When you are ready for tap shoes, you can checkout a variety of used and new tap shoes at Onstage, which is located right behind Sugar Swing Ballroom
Tap Shoe Maintenance : PLEASE maintain your tap shoes and ensure there are no loose screws or sharp edges, to ensure our floor finish stays strong. If you are unsure, chat with our instructors at class!
Difficulty Warning : Later parts (Part B, C, or D) are not recommended for complete newcomers to the dance. However, if you cannot wait, you are welcome to pop into these parts. Perhaps take 2-3 private lessons (contact our office). Just know that they move at a faster pace!
Tap 1: Part B Week 6 Sun, Apr 26 2:35 pm Sugar Swing 22.00 The level continues here from the previous part! Note: We do not recommend beginners to start mid-semester, unless you have done tap before, or have taken other dance forms. If you do join, just know that they move at a faster pace!
